As part of Nonline Studios I got to design the user interface and trailer for a game called Fungi for Steam, web and mobile. Fungi is unfortunately no longer active, but was a strategic online multiplayer game in which you battle the rest of the world.
The visual goal is a clear and minimal design in line with the basic blobs. The gamedesign itself represents complex organic behaviour in its most primary form, making strategy the main focus. Because of plenty colourful elements in game, the interface and surroundings are a monotone greyscale. It's this back to basics approach that highlights the actions more than anything around it. The calm clean look makes it a relaxing game to play for users that like meditative mass mining, but also accompanies the usability when it comes to fast paced action.
