People often have strongly polarised opinions about architecture in Tilburg, despite the growing presence of projects that stand out from the crowd each year. To celebrate these, a new biennial architecture award is brought into being, highlighting the recent developments, where both residents and a professional jury evaluate the many submissions.

The Tilburg Architecture Prize is the brand new biennial award for the best building in the municipality of Tilburg. Each edition is intended for projects that were completed or put into use between the past two years.

At the core of the identity lies a modular system that refers to the spatial interpretation of the architecture at both project level and the development flux of the Tilburg architectural landscape, where form is dictated by the content and vice versa.
